SOCIAL: SURREY RANKED 8 OF 10 IN COMPETATIVENESS FOR 2021
The municipality of Surrey ranked 8 of 10 in competativeness for top cities in the Americas. They moved up two spots since the year prior. The city of Surrey is a lively place with cosmopolitan values. It aims to be a "nexus for commerce and a nationally recognized centre for innovation." The rating came from a variety of determinants of which include, "COVID response initiatives, investment wins, investor aftercare initiatives, promotion of investment decisions, and digital and multimedia activities." It is clear that the municipality of Surrey is on their way to becoming the city of the future.
